NUK Perfect Match Perfect Start Set

Code 5560658

A complete soothing and feeding set for newborns, and a great choice for parents-to-be and new parents.

The NUK Perfect Match bottle adapts to your baby's mouth. Its soft, flexible teat gently nestles against the palate and helps with latching, as recommended by midwives and paediatricians,* so feeds are calm and relaxed. It's designed for combination feeding, making it easier to switch between breast and bottle, and has the NUK Anti-colic Air System and a temperature indicator that changes from blue to white if the milk is too hot.***

The NUK Perfect Match Air Soother is small, soft and wonderfully light. Its ultra-soft teat moulds to your baby's palate and leaves plenty of room for the tongue, and its butterfly-shaped shield keeps skin contact to a minimum, with large openings that let delicate skin breathe and help prevent drool rash. It's designed to support healthy teeth and jaw development.**

***The temperature indicator is an additional check only. Always test the temperature with a few drops on your wrist before feeding.

Soft & flexible

The teat is made from a material that is extra-thin, making it especially flexible. And thanks to its velvety surface, it feels as soft as skin.

NUK Anti-Colic Function

The NUK anti-colic air system ensures less bubbles and tears, with a natural milk flow for peaceful and happy mealtimes.

Large, wide lip rest

The lip rest feels like skin to your baby when drinking, and its wide shape mimics the breast. At no point does it come into contact with the firm plastic parts of the bottle.

Made in Germany

Our NUK products are proudly made in Germany and exported from here to families in over 120 countries around the world.

For healthy teeth & jaw development*

The NUK soother shape is curved to nestle against the palate, flat and curved inwards to leave room for the tongue and is extra-thin so that lips can close almost completely.

Temperature control

The NUK temperature control indicator, located on the back of the bottle, changes colour (from blue to white) if the content is too hot**.

How to use

1. Cleaning before first use

Before first use, disassemble the product, clean all components and place them in boiling water for 5 minutes. This is to ensure hygiene. Before each subsequent use, clean carefully to ensure hygiene. Sterilise as needed.

2. Heating bottles

Never heat up or cool down closed bottles (risk of explosion/material damage).

Take extra care when microwave heating; localised overheating can occur. Always stir heated food and check the temperature before feeding.

3. Storage

Store dry and hygienic.

4. Replacement advice

Replace teats after 1–2 months for hygiene and safety reasons.

If the bottle is damaged from the inside (e.g. by scratches), it should be replaced for hygiene reasons.

5. For a seamless feeding!

With its 360° teat, you don't have to worry about the teat's positioning in baby's mouth. It does the job wonderfully without you thinking about it, allowing baby to feed comfortably from any angle!

Product care guidelines

Sterilising the bottle

When sterilising plastic bottles, do not exceed the maximum temperature of 100°C (see symbol on the bottle).

For boiling or steam sterilising, always dismantle the bottle into its components and leave it open to avoid deformation.

To prevent material damage, always follow the instructions for use of the steriliser.

Dishwasher?

Teats and bottles should not be cleaned in a dishwasher – dishwasher detergents can cause material damage.

For cleaning, use NUK bottle cleanser or a mild washing-up liquid and remove food residues also from hidden surfaces. Soak the product if necessary; do not scratch the inside of the bottle. Rinse thoroughly.

Instructions & safety

Pacifiers

For your child’s safety

CAUTION!

Inspect the pacifier before each use. Pull the pacifier in all directions. Throw it away at the first signs of damage or weakness. Also inspect the teat carefully, especially when the child is teething. Some children bite so strongly on the teat that it can become damaged or even torn. In rare cases, a child may take the entire pacifier into the mouth. Stay calm! The pacifier cannot be swallowed, and two ventilation holes in the shield ensure breathing. Remove it gently from the child’s mouth.

Keep the box out of the reach of children.

Suitable only for NUK pacifiers.

Never dip the teat in sweet substances or in medicine, as this may cause tooth decay. Do not expose the pacifier to direct sunlight or heat sources and do not leave it in disinfectant (“sterilising solution”) longer than recommended, as this may impair the teat. Use only pacifier chains that comply with EN 12586. Never attach other cords or strings to a pacifier – risk of strangulation.

Baby bottles

Important: Breastfeeding is best for babies.

For your child’s safety and health

WARNING!

Always use this product with adult supervision. Throw away at the first signs of damage or weakness. Keep components not in use out of the reach of children. Never attach cords, ribbons, laces or loose parts of clothing to the product. The child can be strangled. Never use feeding teats as a soother. Glass bottles may break.

When preparing infant formula or tea, always follow the food manufacturer’s instructions.

To retain vitamins and nutrients, the temperature should not exceed 60 °C. Only administer food and drink in the quantity and consistency recommended by the manufacturer.

From 5 months, gradually change your baby over to a beaker.

Always check food temperature before feeding.

For feeding teats: Inspect the feeding teat before each use and pull it in all directions. Throw away at the first signs of damage or weakness.

Please softly squeeze vent and drinking hole/slit before each use to ensure that it is open. Do not dip in medicine! Continuous and prolonged sucking of fluids will cause tooth decay. Tooth decay in young children can occur even when non-sweetened fluids are used.
